I have attached a picture of "Lucy".  I got her from the ANNA shelter in Sept 2007.   She is the greatest dog.  Very entertaining.  She has learned to play with toys. She has been a joy.    Karen A. Kaiser

Just wanted to drop you a line to say that Shelby is doing wonderfully!
She had surgery on her leg for a large growth but everything turned out
fine and she is perfectly healthy now. WOW is she ever trained. She
knows so many commands that we are still trying to figure out the
proper words thats she already knows (we are the ones who need trained
apparently), plus she loves frisbee and fetch. Anyway she is fitting in
beautifully and we love her so much!!! Thank you for a GREAT dog!
You'll find us at the beach A LOT this summer (she loves it there).
Keep up the good work!

I know that you never thought Reilly (the
little one) would get big but...he's almost as big as his big brother
already. He's approaching 50 pounds for his six month birthday. He'll
definitely outweigh Higgins by Christmas - especially the way he eats!
We had the "nip & tuck" done - although he didn't realize he had
anything nor that he's missing anything. He was trying to run & jump on
Higgins the day he came home. To say that he's a happy boy is an
understatement. He's also become the "meeter and greeter" of the
neighborhood - he doesn't understand why somebody would pass by without
petting him. - Amy Danzer

Hi everyone at the ANNA Shelter,
I am not sure if you remember me or not, but I was given up last August, and I was only at your shelter for about 30 minutes or so and my new Mom and Dad came and got me.  I live in a nice quiet home where I am the center of attention (of course) and I like to sleep in with my mom and get belly rubs and give kisses.  I have one toy that I love, which is a giraffe and I love playing with it.  I like to go on walks.  I get a bit nervous in the car but my people are working on that with me. II just wanted to say hello, and maybe my old owners will see this and know that I am doing very very well.  Thanks to everyone at the shelter!  - Ginger, Lauren and Jay Thomas

I am the one that adopted Roman. We just wanted to let you know how well he is doing. We changed his name to Logan we wanted him to have a new start with his new family... I want you to know That Logan could not be a better dog he is doing so well with us he is very happy and he has made us so happy too. We could have not asked for a better dog. I want to thank you for everything your shelter did for us. I'm sorry we forgot his paper work and you had to mail it to us. We made Logan an appointment with our vet to get him fixed. We want you to just donate the $30 fee to your shelter. Again thank you for all your help.. Please tell Amanda Logan will miss her... Jimmy & Cheryl

Hi ANNA Shelter. It's me Sampson, except my name is now Chester.  I left the ANNA Shelter in October 2007 with my new Dad. He was so glad I knew house rules and fit in very quickly.  I love running up and down the stairs, but rarely do anything slow.  I was very appreciative of what the ANNA Shelter did for me, but I am much happier with my Dad.  It's a great life and my Dad is happy to have found me.
Thanks,  Chester

Hello! I am Chloe (Grey kitty) and my little sister here is Halle (short for Halloween)! We just love our new home. I came to my new home in June of 2007, and my little sister here just came about a month or two ago. I just love to cuddle with my daddy! He is my favorite! I love to lay in his blankets on my couch too!Halle loves to spend time cuddling up to her new mommy and daddy. She is a very happy kitty who loves to be held, cuddled all of the time, and purrs constantly. She loves to carry her little mousies around by their tails from room to room and plays fetch with her mommy!  Of course, when she isnt playing with mommy and daddy, she is playing with me! I love to play with her and when we get tired we cuddle up together and lick eachother. Thank you so much for every thing you have done for us! We are very happy girls in our new home and our parents love us very very much!!!
Love, Chloe and Halle (and Jenna and Chris too!)

Hello~to all of you wonderful people,  I thought I would take a minute to email you with an update on (I think her name at the shelter was Esther, she was the old golden retriever you had.)  We call her Miah.  She adjusted very well here within the first day or two.  She has all the love she can handle, myself and my two boys love her very much.(My boys loved her more once she smelled better) LOL. She has filled a big void in our lives, and I am sure we have filled one in hers as well.  she is very well behaved, listens well. She is very smart, doesn't jump on the beds or furniture, she had one accident in the house. She is such a sweetheart. I can't imagine anyone just giving her up, or not looking for her. We can't figure much out about her past, if you throw a ball she will just stand there and look at you.  I bought her toys that she hasn't even touched.  Trying to get her out of the pool is impossible though. She loves to swim, right off of my sun room is the pool deck and as soon as I open the door going to the sun room she runs to the door leading to the pool deck.  She is very spoiled, I even made alterations to the pool so it is easier for her to get out. God forbid we run out of "frosty paws" or meaty bones.  For any of you that are worried about her or thought about her, you don't need to worry she has a great home. I have so much respect all of you who volunteer for these animals, as I could not do it. I would want to take everyone home. In closing I want to thank you all for doing what you do.  Mikalee Toranno

Hi folks, just wanted to update you on Grizzly.  We adopted him from your shelter back at the end of Feb., so we are just coming up on 6 mths. that he's been with us.  All is working out very, very well.  He's a great Great Pyr, and we love him so much already.  I am SO glad I checked Petfinder that day!  I had been browsing them for the past couple of months before, once or twice a week.
Thanks for the opportunity of allowing us to bring this beautiful boy home to Canada.  You won't have to worry about him from here on out.......he's in his forever home!
Lynda and Mike Marshall, and of course, Da Griz!

Dear Anna Shelter,  Thank you for keeping me while I waited for my new home.  When I lived with you I went by "Mo".  My new owners call me Mona now and I'm very happy with it!  I love my new home but needed a week or so to get used to my new canine siblings.  The girls at my house love to brush me and pet me.  They have this funny feather that they wave at me and then giggle when I reach for it...I just don't understand!  My favorite hobbies at my new house are sleeping in my princess bed, bird watching from the front window and playing hide and seek with the girls - I hide and they always find me!  My family loves me so much and I"m really happy to be with them!
Love,  Mona and the Lourens family
