Wyatt's Garden 2012
Wyatt's Garden is dedicated in the memory of a little orange kitten who suffered and died as the result of human abuse. His ordeal and struggle affected not only us at the ANNA Shelter but thousands of animal lovers across the country. Sadly, he is not alone - suffering at the hands of people with no respect for life. This garden area is a place where we remember the animals who have gone to heaven before their time - no longer suffering from abuse or neglect.
It has become a place for reflection and remembering where our staff can sit and pray when times get tough.
We welcome anyone to stop and visit. Sit on the bench. Read the reflection and prayer. Honor the St. Francis (patron saint of the animals) statue and ask his hand to help the animals who need him most.
Special thanks to our friends Jess and Mike Harrington of Signature Landscapes of Erie for designing and implementing the garden; and to everyone who respects life and supports our mission.
