Dear Friends at the ANNA shelter,
I wanted to send you an update on Lakota, the German Shepherd mix we adopted last August. He is wonderful. We all love him very much. He is well trained and fun to spend time with. He loves to go for people, especially kids, walks and even more than that, he LOVES to go for rides. |

My new guinea pig is doing fine..my german shepherd fell in love with her...I removed the matts from her back side, combed her then she took a nap. I purchased a new ceramic bowl, some quality guinea pig food and some cedar shavings. She had a bite size carrot which she liked and ate the food out of the bowl. my dog lies by her pen and watches her. she fussed when the pig was napping. she couldn't see her. :) Susan |

Hello Anna shelter i would just like to tell you that Mia the German shepherd Mix puppy is doing GREAT she loves her new home. She has her own bed and her own collar that has 4 tags on it so she does not get lost!Mia loves to play in our fenced in yard with me and my 3 little cousins.
SHe has a ton of friends from our block and my Big sisters dog will be playing with her soon! She likes to run after our cats but they swat her right back she does not mind it at all in fact that's how she thinks they play back! Its very funny to watch her run around the house.Mia will just RUN around the house not even running after anything! But i just wanted to let you know that Mia is doing great! |

Well, the fattest, and laziest puppy of the litter is quite a character! He has become very active and is enjoying life on Cherry Street. McCoy, formerly known as Zeus, has taken over our home. He is a very good little boy and nothing has kept him down, not even hernia surgery.
I've attached a picture of him and I am sure there will be more to follow.

Dear ANNA shelter staff,
I just wanted to update you on Bosco (formally known as Tennessee). I adopted him almost 3 weeks ago, and just wanted to let you know what a wonderful dog he is. He is the sweetest, most loving boy I could have ever asked for! I was hesitant to get another dog after I lost my dog to cancer in July, but Bosco has moved into our home and into my heart! Thank-you for taking such good care of him, and God bless you for all the good work you do.

Dear Anna Shelter Staff...
We would like to thank you for your help in pursuing us to adopt Rusty back in June. He truly is a wonderful dog. We took a chance on the first dog we seen at your shelter and after only 20 minutes of visiting with him there, we decided to take him! He is great with our 2 year old son and is like no other dog we've been around. (except for a few quirks of his that are tolerated!) We have had him now for over 3 months and he is doing great. He eats like a horse, has put on some weight and looks great. We would like to share some pictures of him with you and let you know he is very loved and well taken care of. Thanks again for the wonderful dog!
Sincerely,
Sara, James & Calvin Paolello (& Rusty too) |

Here is an updated pic of Koda and his older brother Shadow. They are at camp which they will visit almost every weekend. Koda loves to walk in the woods and sniff for deer! Koda and his brother are starting to warm up to each other – Shadow is still a little growly but they will be best pals soon I’m sure. Koda has his own bed which we take everywhere with us and he already knows it is his. He is already learning our routine and is fitting into the family wonderfully. We are so happy to have him; he is a great dog and very smart. He is getting training tomorrow to learn to stay in his big yard out in the country in Edinboro. Koda has definitely found his “forever” home! Karen King - Edinboro, PA |
