2008 Dog License Info
 

2008 Licenses are available! 

Every dog over the age of 3 months MUST be licensed in the City or County of Erie.   Fines START at $300!!!  Getting your pet licensed is not only the law...but it ensures your dog's safe return - a "Get out of jail free card"!!!

You can purchase your tag at the shelter during our open hours:

Monday and Wednesday 5pm - 7pm

Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday 10am - 1pm

 or visit Grooming by Charlene on 1712 W 8th and Lincoln and Pet's Peak in the Broad Street Plaza (next to Erie County Farms) and Nickel Plate Mills on 16th and Parade.

Fees for both City and County are:

Male or Female Dog     $8.00     Spayed/Neutered Dog     $6.00

Senior Citizen (Owner over 65)     $6.00     Spayed/Neutered Dog     $4.00

Lifetime Microchipped Dogs     $51.00   Spayed/Neutered     $31.00

Senior Citizen Lifetime $21.00 altered pets ($31 unaltered pets)

 

You can also obtain a license through the mail. 

TO DO SO YOU MUST INCLUDE A SELF ADDRESSED & STAMPED ENVELOPE.

PLEASE REMEMBER TO SEND ALONG A SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE FOR THE RETURN OF YOUR TAG WITHOUT ONE YOU WILL BE CALLED TO PICK YOUR TAG UP.
