Every dog over the age of 3 months MUST be licensed in Pennsylvania. Fines START at $300!!! Getting your pet licensed is not only the law...but it ensures your dog's safe return - a "Get out of jail free card"!!!

All tags, including renewals received by mail from the City of Erie can be done at the shelter or any of the vendors below.
You can purchase your tag in person at the Shelter:
Monday and Wednesday 5pm - 7pm
Tuesday - Thursday - Saturday 10am - 1pm
You can also obtain a license through the mail.
