More Happy Tails....!!!
/i//tn_DSC03057.jpg HI Anna shelter,
Just giving you an update on the last rat terrier mix puppy adopted. We adopted Rylee a week ago today and she is doing fabulous. She has so much energy and she learns very quickly. Attached are a few pics of Rylee and her big brother Rio; they just love each other.   Thanks again, Stacey and Jason

Today I came to the Anna Shelter with my daughter and grandson and adopted a new puppy.  This is just to let you know that Bailey is very happy and I wanted to send you a picture of his first day home!  He also met his new sister Abby (4 year old shitzu) and we love to play.
Thank you
 Carl D.

Things are going well at my new home; I almost have my mom trained.  She's pretty easy - all I have to do is start to purr, and she gives me whatever I want.  And if that doesn't work, then I just let out a quiet little meow and she runs to cuddle with me.  The only problem I'm having with her is that she keeps trying to put these drops in my eye, and I don't like that at all.  I've found a way to avoid that, though.  I just hide under the bed until she leaves for work.   I'll never forget you for all the wonderful things you did for me at the ANNA Shelter. Love, Miss Clara

I just wanted to let you know that I am doing great in my new home.  I have my own bed (it's a queen size, and I make sure that I try to take up as much of it as possible), my own couch, and my own favorite toy - a little mousie that I carry around with me from room to room.  If I don't, one of those OTHER cats might take it!   I also have my own litter box, and it's an electric one that cleans itself whenever I go in it, so it's always clean.  I'm still pretty fascinated with that, so I run in to watch when it cleans itself just to make sure that it gets everything.  And you should see the two cat condos I have to climb and play on! I've attached some pictures so you can see how well I'm doing.  I understand that during the summer we get to spend a lot of time on an enclosed porch, so maybe when the weather warms up I'll invite you to come for lunch someday.  Thank you all for taking such good care of me while I was there.  Love,  Paige

Ruth

We just wanted to thank you again for helping us get Marshmallow and Rocky together.  Last night was a little rocky(so to speak).  Today Elizabeth put tuna in both their bowls.  As you can see they are working on that relationship thing.  I guess it is true how food brings people together.

We will keep you updated on how it goes.  We will keep you guys in our prayers.

It's been about six months since the adoption, but I wanted to let
you know how Daisy is doing! (She's the choc. lab/shepherd formerly
known as Sassy.) Daisy thinks she's still "lap dog" size, even though
she's pushing 60 lbs. She loves to play and wrestle with her big
brother Max (a 2-year old Shepherd/Chow who is only 50 lbs!). Daisy
is a wonderful pup with a big girl bark who loves to have fun and
loves to cuddle and sleep, too! Daisy is shown in the photo enjoying
family time on Christmas Eve.

Thank you for your help in adopting Fritz.  Yes, we named him Fritz, after a whole week of deliberation.  He was obviously well cared for and he had a prior name, so we kept on trying different names in hopes of a reponse.  Finally we settled on Fritz.  To our delight Fritz was well trained , he goes willingly into dog pen, is house trained, does tricks, plays fetch, gets along with Archie (our Wire Fox Terrier), (they actually sleep together).  people ask us if they get along well together, and they do.  He loves all the kids and activity our family gives, I just wanted to tell you how much he fits in to our family.  We feel like we've won a million dollars!  Everyday we can't believe we lucked out finding him.

These are pictures of Puppy Number 2 (Kenya). She is doing fine. She loves her backyard as you can see...Thank you A.N.N.A Shelter, Linda Henley

/i//tn_bear.jpg Hi,
I'm sending you pictures of Bear, and he is now six months.  You guys would remember him as big Mike, and we our whole family enjoys him very much.  He is very playful, and has lots of energy.
Thank you for Bear

To my friends at the ANNA Shelter:

It's been a month since my new moms took me home after falling in love with me at Petsmart.  I pulled a fun ploy to get their attention.. sticking my paw out of my cage and batting at them until they decided they couldn't live without me.  Smart, huh?  I love my new home.  I like to lay in the sun by the sliding glass doors, play with things that aren't even really cat toys (like ribbon, shoes, and exercise equipment), and have my belly rubbed.  I've taken up acrobatics, too, as you can see in some of my pictures.  My favorite trick is sliding around on my back by kicking off of whatever is near me.

Thank you for taking such good care of me when I was at the ANNA Shelter!

Love and hugs,

Daisy Mae
