This is Nick - he's really special to us. Nick was hit by a car on Chirstmas Eve near the VA Hospital. Staff members there called us and after hours of surgery and three months of rehabiliation - Nick was adopted by the Chief of Police who aided us in his rescue. He ended up with an amputated leg and loss of vision - but he's a great dog with a wonderful personality! |

Missy and Emerson really wanted to stay together - and it looks like that's exactly what they still do! They went to a wonderful new home where their new owners traveled 4 hours to come and pick them up! |

Chloe was very shy and timid at the shelter and we were concerned about finding her the perfect home. She ended up with an amazing family that loves her and have helped her blossom! |

"Well, we brought Delta home, and as expected, she is fitting right in with our family! After the initial sniffing period we found that she likes nothing better than to lie on the couch and be snuggled, (no matter how hot it is)she loves to be hugged and will reciprocate with lots of wet sloppy kisses of her own! She is truly a godsend for us so thank you so much for the opportunity to adopt her!" Holli Moorhead |

Hello to everyone at the ANNA shelter, I just love my new home and here's a picture of me laying around doin' nuttin', which is what I do best :) T'storms and wind & rain still bother me, but not like last year ! I get 2 really good meals every day and I really like Lacey, the other Golden Retriever and that little furry cat Sarah. Today I made sure that no mountain lions or wild bears came outta the woods while my master cut the grass. I get to watch the Animal Planet whenever I want and I get rawhide chews a lot. Thank you for letting me live with these wonderful people. I send you all my love...---Cruiser Burns of Meadville |

"Dear Ruth, I cannot begin to tell you how much fun Lucy is. She is an absolute sweetheart. We love her and she is just enjoying herself running and running. All I have to do is whistle and she comes right back. I got her groomed on Saturday and here is a picture." Debbie V. |

To the wonderful people at the ANNA Shelter:
I've been in my new home for a whole two weeks now. My new Mom loves me and thinks I'm wonderful. I have a terrific big brother who has been showing me the ropes and is a great playmate. I have two-legged and four-legged cousins who visit often, and I get along well with each and every one of them. My new vet says I'm well-behaved and a very healthy boy.
Thank you so much for taking such good care of me and helping me find a new home where I am loved, cared for and part of a family!
-The puppy formerly known as Cole
