We continue to work everyday at our goal of providing every adoptable animal in our program a life long committed home.  We know our success greatly depends on friends, like you, who support the shelter in what ever way you can. Shelter as a beneficiary for a memorial donation when a loved one has passed away.  This is a special tribute for an animal lover and can easily be arranged through a funeral director.  Donations can be sent to the shelter; simply include a note as to where an acknowledgment should be sent.  A memorial card will then be sent. Host an ANNA Apprciation Themed Party for your special occasion! Wonderful supporter friends like, Abby Kenski (pictured with Kris and Ruth), remember the shelter by having their party or special event benefit the shelter.  Abby had her birthday party and instead of gifts for herself asked her guests to bring donations for the shelter!  She raised $325 and brought lots of goodies for the shelter animals!  Her kindness and generous spirit are so appreciated! We have been fortunate to have other individuals and groups remember us with their events - birthdays, anniversaries and even a wedding!!!  Let us know when your event is and if you want - we'll stop by with a furry shelter representative to show our thanks in person!

Sponsorship a Pet!               Some animals have short stays at the shelter while others experience longer stays while waiting for adoption.  It costs about $7.00 per day to keep a dog or cat at the shelter.  Upon arrival the initial cost put into an animal averages $17.00.  Prior to adoption approximately another $43 goes into covering spay/neuter and other necessary medical expenses.  These are only averages.  Pets with greater needs can cost hundreds even thousands of dollars.  Sponsorship of an animal can help cover or defray these costs.  Interested in a sponsorship?  Just pick an animal from our website. We’ll send you a sponsor packet with a photo of your sponsored pet and information on him/her.  We’ll add your sponsorship information to his/her kennel card and website detailing.  When he/she is adopted…we will let you know!  Sponsorships can be purchased either at the Shelter or through ANNA website.
